Actually if you look at what kerry is proposing, nothing is too extreme and even if it was it would never be passed with a house and senate run by republican majority. All I'm trying to address with this thread is that Bush has had a horrible international relations record (any good is from nations like ours that such up for a little bit of the US economic pie). If you look at the policies that bush intends to implement in his next term, you will see, with some moral sense that a passive government at this point is much better than bush with all the power in the world.
btw for the record, i am a conservative and did consider bush as a credible leader in the bush/gore election. His record speaks for itself, 50% of americans need to give their heads a shake, and we know which 50% that is.
