I have winXP (home) on my second computer & when I click to shut it down it doesnt shut my computer off.
I have to manualy shut off my computer via ( push the button). On other computers I see XP shuts them down on its own?
Do I have to configure something ?
Please reply thx.

Go into your device manager and select "Show hidden devices" in the view menu. A disabled device named "NT Apm/..." will show up. Enable it. Your computer should turn itself completely off now.
