Reminds me of this girl I was dating. She would grate an entire block of Parmesan on whatever possible. It was disgusting.

You do know that most Asians are lactose intolerant right? Up to 90%... which is why we consume Soy milk most of the time. My dad, brother, and myself can drink milk - but my sister and mom cannot.

Humans have a gene defect that allows them to still drink milk or consume dairy products into adult hood... in fact I think we are one of few mammels that drink milk as adults while others only consume milk as babies.

I'd probably have said yes before I developed some sort of dairy intolerance.

Then you realise how much food has dairy in it.. fuck i miss cheese.

I've never eaten chinese.

Cheese doesn't make everything better. Putting it on meat is usually unnecessary, although it's tasty occasionally. I ate a piece of meat (horse I think, it needs to be strong to not be drowned by the cheese) with fused french goat cheese on it once.

That is a complete and total lie. Even in your own damn anecdote you only reach 40%, nowhere near 90%.

If that were true, milk industries would not exist in Asian countries, and yet they do.

As for the topic, there are certain asian dishes that work better with cheese. Cheese Ramen, mmmmm.

There is an awesome ramen place near that does a cheese ramen. According to the menu 'the ladies love it' and I think the menu is right.

What the hell is this?

You think milk and dairy are Western thing?

Koreans have been drinking milk since the medieval days. All kids grow up drinking milk. Hell, there's even a nation-wide milk break program in elementary school- each child receives 1 small carton between breakfast and lunch.

Everyone drinks milk, same goes for Japan, Taiwan, and China.

90% is correct for many Asian countries.

Cheese USUALLY makes everything better but not with asian food. I thought cheese makes chinamen have explosive diarrhea?

Ive always hated cream cheese in my sushi (and yes, i know thats about as asian as cheeseburger, but the people selling it claim it is)

steak and cheese egg rolls suckas!

ROLL51.jpg

Ill make an exception for this because it makes my mouth water! and just because you call something an eggroll, doesnt make it asian

Really?

I'm not Asian, but I lived in Korea while in the Army, and I freaking love some good Kimchee. We regularly went off base to eat at out of the way places, and I never saw cheese on Kimchee.

No. When I think of good asian food, adding cheese to it makes me gag a little.
I likes me cheeses, but the flavors and veg and freshness and sauces do not need cheese.
