Shots vs. mixed drinks

I prefer always having a drink in my hand and taking my time to finish it.

Although I've done shots, I just don't really enjoy it anymore.
Could have something to do with the night I did a couple of everclear shots.

depends on what i am mixing it with, i would rather have shots, and beer to wash it down, but some mixed drinks like mandury sours are good.

Shots but in a glass so I can drink them like water. Mmmm Vodka.

Also just shooting all your alcohol gets extremely expensive. Why spend $40+ on a bottle and have it shot away in less than a day?

If I am feeling in a social mood I like a mixed drink, something that taste good, if I want to get drunk fast I take a bunch of shots in a very short amount of time.

If I'm going to have a mixed drink, I'll probably have a whiskey sour. Otherwise, I like my wiskey, scotch or bourbon neat.

Depends on the mood I'm in. If I'm looking to get drunk right quick, shots. However, I can sometimes drink mixed drinks almost as fast as I could do shots.

I don't get doing shots. Why chug something that's going to make your grimace when you can sip on something tasty. Give me a nice rum and tonic and I'm a happy camper......3-5 of them and I'll be a very happy camper. 😛
