Shot some video with the T2i this morning!

It was my first time experimenting with video on the stupid thing. Maybe I'd had too much coffee, but I forgot to focus before I shot the video. Oh well, have to re-do it next week!

If you don't have a lens mounted, sure. Otherwise that's an absurd claim.

I thought the T2i could record in 1080p. Any reason you didn't use it or does youtube only allow up to 720p videos?

I've only got a dual core computer and limited storage space. Didn't feel like using all the extra space and time for a simple car vid.

If you use Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere you can significantly decrease the time it takes by re-encoding the clips with the H.264 codec at around 10-15 mbps to preserve quality.

I created a program (open source) that converts 1080p/720p video from the T2i/T3i/60D/7D from 48000kbit/s to 5000kbit/s, and it still looks pretty good. Anyone interested?
