Picked up one of those to use as an "extra" house pc, and mostly to run my home automation stuff. Put a celery 1.7, 512 meg Mushkin mem stick, and an old 8.4 gig drive...like I said, home automation isn't real demanding disc wise...
Unfortunately none of the older cd-rom's I have around seem to fit into this thing. Most of them seem to be about 8 inches from the front bezel to the rear, and then the darn power, data, & sound cables extend out beyond that...
Theoretically, about a 7 inch cd or cdrw would would here. Any idea what the smallest thing out there is? I guess they are about $50 for the nicer cdrw's, and maybe $20 for the cdrom's....(what a diff. from the last bunch I bought a few years ago!)
I guess in the case (pun intended) of small form factor machines, size does matter!

By they way, this thing runs pretty good for the price...quiet, fairly fast (ok, it's not like my asus p4c800dlx/p4, but hey...it cost about the same as that board alone)
