I got this 12 Gallon 4.5HP one this week, the contractor duty one. It's so awesome, it cleans my car in about 10 seconds flat, and is so powerful it sucks the carpet right up! Tim Taylor of vacuum's argh argh argh! They have them as low as $35.99 for the 1.5HP and are only charging $5.99 for shipping regardless of size. Mine was over 23 pounds! They were charging over $11 or so a few weeks back to ship these.

It retails for $190! I don't need it,but could not pass it up!

I thought it was a pretty good deal. Where have you been able to find them cheaper? I searched Sears and they don't even have the industrial grade ones. The 12 gallon 4.5hp one usually sells for over a hundred dollars, ie:

I wasn't able to find it cheaper anywhere else, with that low of a shipping cost either. I would be interested in that blower too, but I can't find any Echo products on Amazon's tool section.

How about Walmart.com? They have one as cheap as 23.99 and their shipping is only 5.97. How about bluelight.com? Similar prices also and they even have some coupons floating around. Add in Ebates and they are even cheaper. The first two places I looked, imagine that...... And futhermore, the link with your referral ID blatantly added in is not allowed around here. I would recommend removing it if you want your stay here to continue...mods get kind of touchy about that stuff.....

I saw on today's newspaper ad, Kmart has 6-GAL 5.7amp motor ShopVac for $29.99. Too bad i needed a car vac instead.

12 Gallon ShopVac (standard wet/dry black plastic model on wheels) used to sell at Sam's Club for $79.95 each. I haven't seen them in stock as of late though. It is plenty powerful. Also, the more horsepower, the louder it is. I like a balance between the two inside the garage when I vacuum the car.
