shopping for water @ supermarket

do u have brand loyalty? or just go with whats cheapest? or what has the coolest bottling? what's your thang?

today i was at shop rite buying some stuff for the fridge... walked down the soda aisle and recalled hearing on the radio this morning that carbonated drinks (sparkling water included) causes cancer in the espohogus (sp?). blah... no soda. so i walked down the juice aisle thinking to get some hi-c or something, but determined that shiat can't be much better then soda. so then i walked over to the spring water aisle. hmm... which one to get? at first i went by price... then decided the bottle looks like crap. then i went over to something more pleasing to the eye and didn't like the price premium. there i stood debating whether to get cheap water, or the ones in pretty bottles. there was also aquafina, but i remember reading something somewhere saying they suck. in the end, i got the aquafina. woohoo!

 for a Brita pitcher. Though usually I just drink whatever comes out of the tap.

I have a liter sized dasani bottle that I fill up with tap water every day. I usually manage to drink atleast 3 bottles in the course of a day. Yeah I'm weird.

my apt complex is crap so i have to buy bottled water or take the risk of getting lead/copper poisoning :|
Anyways i stick to arrowhead and aquafina for the most part cause thats usually whats on sale at the store 😀

Costs more per gallon than gasoline!

You're buying expensive water. You can get gallon jugs for about a buck fity, stop and shop brand.

I buy bottled water when I know there wont be a tap available. Other than that, it's silly.

Aquafina 24 pack for $4.99 at Stater Brothers. I can't stand tap water. It really does have a different taste. Plus area I live in has 2 landfills within 15 miles. I'm not taking any chances.

i drink tap water too... esp after playing bball... damn!!! nothing like an ice cold stream of water from the tap 😛 i like to buy water to stick in my car becuz i am lazy to fill up recycled bottles. plus sometimes i got ballin' in places with no water fountains, so bottled water is a must (even if it ain't ice cold).

no, u r a camel. j/k 😛

We get the gallon size things of a cheap brand. Buffalo Don's or something like that. $0.90 for a gallon of their Spring Water or whatever it is. But that's at the grocery store because we don't have a walmart or anythign nearby. However they are buildig one about 5-10 minutes form our house so then we might have to change....

lol um... "buck fity" is expensive water.
gallon jugs of shoprite water around here in jersey cost 69 cents.

I used to buy bottled water, but the quality lately has been crap. Way too many of the plastic tasting/smelling bottles. Been drinking from the tap which tastes pretty stale, and who knows what's in it. I think I'm going to have to get one of those 5 gal cooler delivery services - used to have those when I was a kid and I would drink a gallon a day it was soooooo good.

Me neither. It's not really better than tap but it's expensive as gasoline. Plastic and therefore oil is wasted in producing water bottles while it's perfectly economical to use a purifier. I guess people had grown used to the safe and clean naive feeling of a packaged/bottled product.

It's all about the flavor. You guys who like your tap water all live up north, where you drink it before you piss in it and send it down to us. Sure new england and any great lakes region has awesome tap water (and awesome well water too). SC does not. Hence, the bottle.
