Shoppers already lined up for Black Friday

They're not staying there a week, right? Like don't they leave their chairs there overnight or something, or have someone else sit in their spot while they take a shit or shower or eat? D:

I know they want to be 1st one in line, but why wait a week before? It's not like other people are gonna start waiting now too.

They probably don't have jobs at all. The jokes on them too, getting a low paying job would mean more cash in their pocket at the end of this bullshit than the money they're gonna save on a TV they don't really need!

Free publicity which can be monetized and possibly very lucrative.
Only if they're smart about it and planned it with certain sponsors before hand.

$8.25 an hour minimum wage in CT

7 days early

8 hours a day * 7 days a week = 56 work hours at McDonalds = $462

Do most people save $462 on Black Friday? 😵

Actually, perhaps they're smart & they have a plan. They knew they'd be tossed out, so knew they really wouldn't be wasting a lot of time. The local press, of course, is going to pick up the story. It's going to create an artificial image in people's minds that there's something at that store worth waiting in line for. OMG, BB must have some great deals! A higher than expected crowd forms at BB the night before the sale.

Meanwhile, the two "idiots" get up at 7am, and waltz right into the stores of their choice at 8am, without having to wait.

You give people way too much credit.
