Yeah we are in for a rough ride I think. It's one of the reasons I bought off grid land, hoping I can get myself to a point of being mostly self sufficient before things get really bad. I will need to get decently equipped to defend it though.

Besides the street thugs and ne'er do wells who do not care that it is wrong to steal, a lot of this run by criminal gangs who are making big money paying people to rip off the chains en masse and selling the loot to smaller shops / bodegas or online.

Why do we tolerate this anywhere in America? Wake up California!
