Yeah, but you know, nothing can be done about it, it's simply impossible to do anything about it. Things done in other nations after mass shootings that fixed it can't be done in the US because ... Well because... it just can't...

It has to do with US exceptionalism.

Apparently you are exceptionally attached to your guns and that is what that means, a few kids doesn't matter if they weren't yours...

OMG that worked! I just spoke to America. Everyone loved your post and we are all turning in our guns and are marching to Washington with tea and crumpets to ask the government to please repeal the 2nd Amendment!

Did someone legally sell them to you because they don't need to do background checks at private sales and that is why no gun control is needed?

Or was it because they were legally purchased but stolen which is why no gun control requiring safe storage is needed?

Also, If I were you I'd delete that post. Any entity within the US that comes upon information of a federal crime is legally obligated to report it to the FBI you know.

Depending on the felony and the state, felons owning guns can be perfectly legal.

I did not know that, can they vote in federal elections too? I suppose that what I'm asking is if the restoration of civil rights is complete.

To clarify, I think it should be for all felons.

The first scenario is illegal in WA. Gun show sales require background checks. I'd have to go to Montana to legally buy firearms without a background check.
In the last scenario, that would be illegal as hell...possession of stolen property is a crime...often another felony.


I've voted in every election since 1972...including my time as a felon under the control of the state...totally legal here at the time...as for the firearms...

Also depends on the state although I think most states permit voting for felons.

It's good that you get to vote (make it count) and it's good that if you can keep your firearm locked up properly when you don't use it for hunting or range shooting that you can have it.

I never got the idea of restricting voting since the chant "no taxation without representation" came from people who probably would not have felons vote in the first place but didn't think.. at all about it.

Well those are my opinions that do not really matter on the subject.

For the majority, you are NOT dealing with people who value guns over lives. They simply have no concept other than to use guns to stop other people with guns. It's that simple.

Nothing to be done, there is no common element in mass shootings that could be reduced and very strictly controlled over time.

That’s not true! Only people who mishandle guns put their families at risk.

To be safe I’ve made sure my wife and 4 year old know how to handle them safely.

I would never make a mistake with a gun. So to keep my family safe I keep loaded weapons in every room and conceal carry every where just in case.

Accidents only happen to those who deserve it so leave my guns alone stupid libtard.
