Shoot 'Em Up

That looks freaking awesome! Looks like a good chill-out action flick that doesn't take itself too seriously.

"So what do you think of the second amendment now?"

"Guns don't kill people.... but they sure help!"

Cool. Anyone know what the song in the trailer is?

"Kickstart my Heart" by Motley Crue.

Edit: It looks awesome but I tell you, I'm sort of gun-shy (lol) about movies like these after Smokin' Aces. That had a pretty cool trailer too and the movie was BAD.

Whoa. Just watched this.

Pretty awesome movie in a pure mindless action way.

Clive Owen ftw.

Almost rented this last night. Opted for "War" starring Jet Li and Jason Statham instead.

War delivered! 8/10

I didn't even know this movie had come out. 😱 It's exactly my type of movie, too. It's out on DVD now? I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I watched the movie, and I'm pretty sure there haven't been more than 30 seconds of time without gunfire 😛 Doesn't mean it's bad tho 😛

I watched it this weekend and loved it. It was pretty much the definition of "popcorn flick".

My only complaint is it looked like they spent about $15 on the last big scene - horrible, horrible CGI. Other than that, it was an awesome movie.

Watched it a few days ago, thought it was absolutely horrible. I am still amazed that I made it all the way through without turning it off.

Saw it yesterday, agree. I winced everytime the "evil" guy opened his mouth.

I love how all the critics of the movie don't seem to understand the point of the movie, even though it's blatantly obvious in the title: let's make fun of every gun movie possible, making our movie one giant ass parody. At the same time, we are going to take every cliched character personality stereotype, every cliched shooter moments, add a little kick and flavor, and make it a balls out shooter.

I enjoyed it a lot, especially on the premise that in all of its glory, for fans of major commercial shooters, you'll be able to pick out the stereotypical moments and know to what movie they are nodding to.
I defend it, because it was genius. I absolutely loved this movie for what is really was: gun porn, lots of action, and fun characters.

I watched it half way through, then turned it off, and read a book. Why not just splice together all the action scenes from a movie that was already made and save the trouble of making a movie?

I can't remember the last time I didn't watch a movie all the way to the end. And, I liked Grindhouse.

Awesome, thanks for this. I'm going to rent it tonight.

I saw both of them in the theaters. War is ok, I like the plot twist but the end... SPOILER!!!!......

I didn't like how Jason character got killed.

Shoot is just a mindless fun shootings after another shooting. Love the scene where Owen and Paul characters cussed one another .....with you guess what...with guns/bullets...
