Shockwave using HTTP Proxy?

I have to use an HTTP Proxy to connect to the internet using Internet Explorer. When I try to use shockwave files that connect to servers for games it always cannot establish a connection. Is there a way you can setup shockwave to go through the HTTP Proxy?
