Look at all these pieces of trash smiling at the cameras. I truly feel for all evolved humans in Missouri, and wish them the wealth and means to escape a state so full of people that are just barely evolved more than a caveman. But to all the smiling dbags in the photo in the article, do the country a favor, AND FUCKING SECEDE. Take the rest of the damn deep south with you, and while you are at it, Florida, Texas and the Dakotas.

"Gov. Mike Parson signed legislation Saturday that invalidates federal gun laws in Missouri.
Missouri law enforcement officials no longer have to execute federal gun laws.
Missouri Gov. Mike Parson signed a bill Saturday that declares all federal gun laws past, present and future must be invalid in the state. This includes taxing, tracking and registration of weapons.
The bill is called the “Second Amendment Preservation Act.”
He signed the bill in front of a large crowd inside Frontier Justice, a gun store and shooting range in Lee’s Summit.
Parson, a former sheriff, said the purpose of this legislation is to stand up to the federal government.
“We’re going to do things to make sure you don’t overreach your authority from the federal government,” he said, while seated at a desk in front of a large display of firearms."

After some deliberation, I will leave your thread title unedited, despite its inclusion of terms considered offensive by many, since they obviously reference word our former President used on the international stage. However, everyone here should be advised that we are a tech forum whose rules include the dictum of not including "profanity" in your thread title, and this title above does really cross that line.

Everyone, be so advised.

Since the constitution is federal, and it is what gives them their rights to have those guns, and in itself is the law of the land. Which is what empowers those federal laws. Doesn't that mean he just invalidated the constitution in that state? Which means he just took every citizens rights to bare arms away.

Of course, he doesn't realize that the only way any federal law can be invalidated is either the SCOTUS declares it nationally, or his state leaves the Union.

All for show, unless that Gov. comes from the same gene pool that Trump slithered out of. I mean if that song and dance doesn't guarantee him major political chits then he's going to have'ta up the ante and do that incitement thingy a lot of Repubs seem to get all teary-eyed and patriotic about.

This is what I was thinking.

Either way, I had no plans to ever go to Misery. Looks like a solid plan.

Great way to score political points with deplorable fascists and felons. That seems to be the new Republican base..."rule of law" be damned. But, I doubt this will have any real impact (beyond Missouri becoming a hub for cartel gun running) and will certainly be tested in court.

I have a more tit for tat idea.

Since Guv'nuh Cancel Culture wants to cancel Federal laws, I propse the Feds cancel all support of Misery State and local police. That means no more support from FBI for crime scene work, no access to NCIC or AFIS (Fingerprinting), no service from BATF on explosives, no DHS support, no aid from the US Marshal Service for fugitive recovery or transportation and so on.

Can my state pass a law invalidating all shitty SCOTUS rulings as well as federal regulations we don't like?

Let's do pick and choose law and order.

I'm in Iowa, while they just passed laws to allow permit less carry, I'd prefer what Missouri did.

I guess if someone believes in freedom they are in a shithole state. Ok. Gotcha.
