Question: When you wear a sweater on top of a collared shirt, do you pull the collar out or leave it in?

Generally I agree. The only sweater I have is one with a turtle neck, so you're not going to see the collar anyways.

I was told that sweaters over a collared shirt was an "eighties" look and to avoid it. Not sure how much I trust this guy's judgement though.

I hate wearing collared dress-shirts, tucked-in, with nothing else on top. I feel like some dude who works in an office when I do that... Nothing wrong with working in an office, I just don't want to look like that.

Putting on a suit with a tie, that's OK but not very practical for day-to-day. The warmer half of the year, I tend to wear to polo shirts (and occasionally, squared-off-at-the-bottom, don't-need-to-tuck-'em-in summer button down collar shirts) and then the cooler half of the year I go for collared shirts with sweaters.

Most of them aren't the kind of bulky sweaters that your Grand Pa wore. They're doing some amazing stuff with men's sweaters these days. Seriously :) They got ones that are as thin as cotton T-Shirts. Very stylish :D

<---- trying to refrain from saying anything.

I never tuck in my dress shirts ;) I just wear a plain white shirt under everything (shirts, sweaters, etc) - you gotta be double layered ;)

So when are you starting your next men's line, Jean Paul Gaultier?
