My mother is a huge fan, grew up with Shirley Temple movies and made sure my sister and I saw lots of them when we were kids. That's sad, but RIP dear, you will be missed.
I don't want to tell my mom, she's recovering from surgery as I type this and has morphine still coursing through her. If I told her Shirley Temple is gone she would probably start sobbing hysterically.

I think my sister gets to deliver this bit of news. ;(
