Shipping a Radeon 9800 Pro

Would it be safe and secure in a USPS box... I don't know the dimensions off the top of my head but it isn't the flat boxes, they're the box box looking ones. It's the smaller of the two square boxes and it has sufficient space. I do not have the retail box that the card came with. I was sold the card with just a regular brown box with all the manuals.

Can anyone confirm if it'll be ok to ship the item in this USPS box with a lot of foam peanuts?

I would not ship it in the smallest USPS box available. Pick up a decent sized box and bubble wrap at KMart.

I would use a free Priority Mail box to put the bare card in, then wrap THAT in the box of your choice. It helps prevent extreme crushing.

Thanks, will bubble wrap her at USPS post office. Thanks again.

I think I know which box you're talking about, and I wouldn't ship a video card in it. I received my RAM in one from a manufacturer and it was a good size fit for something that small. I think a video card would be too tight to squeeze in all the extra padding and bubble-wrap/peanuts you'll need.

Get the next biggest one and fill it with some shipping peanuts.

Thanks. Of course I will not forget the anti-static baggy 🙂

I'm going to the supply store right now to pick up a bigger box. Thanks again. I just want to make sure this gets there safe and snug. This is a high priced item.
