hmmm...nope...not working.

evo would be a good choice for sports car and somebody who needs to drive mountains in winter.

Shamefully I figured if I'm entering the dating scene again I might as well drive something that fits me.
Professional, can fit a baby seat if needed and oh btw its faster than snot.

And that is the main reason why I avoided a boy-racer car. Not only that but I gotta fit groceries somewhere.
:D

whats wrong with boyracer cars for dating... :p jk... you probably would get a cleaner ass with a TL. :D

Damn boy. I just got home less than an hour ago! Dash is not as nice as the navigation but I didn't want to pay the extra dough.

Crappy interior and poor brake feel. BOO!

anyway let's no pit the TL against the 330, g35. You guys know I think all are awesome cars in their own right.

I'll give ya the nicer interior in the Ac but the g is a coupe after all. And "brake feel" is awfully subjective :p

with the manual on this car and that much torque it is VERY noticible. Drive one and stomp on it in 2nd or 3rd. you had BETTER hold on to that wheel.

If the TL was RWD i honestly believe it couldn't be beat. FWD is indeed its con. But hey! I still love it.

maybe for car enthusiasts who can actually feel it and drive a little more 'spiritedly'... my friend has a g35 4 door... he doesnt even know its RWD and he said he wishes his car was RWD... i wish i were spoiled. :frown:

Rumor has it that the 2005.5 (available Fall '05) TL will have this option. But its just a rumor right now :(

edit: Even then, it prolly won't be a 'true' AWD; I bet 80% of the torque is going to the front wheels most of the time.

They're gonna have to. With what nissan/infiniti is doing and BMW/AUDI, honda/acura are playing leapfrog.

Face it fellas. Power is back and the days of econo FWD cars is over. At least in the "sports sedan" category that I honestly believe the Maxima started back in the late 80s.

Looks like an awesome vehicle. I am glad that Honda decided to put some torque in their cars.

tell you truth I haven't really felt the vtec kick in lik you do in their 4s. But then again I am treating her with soft tender TLC.

But be warned...the FWD torque steer is severe and this comes from a DRIVER and not some magazine. I don't know if its something in the traction/ACS control but she almost tends to oversteer.

Any torque steer?

BTW, I would break in the engine before revving it up.

EDIT: The worst thing you can do at this point to the engine - besides dumping sand into the crankcase or something similar suicidal - is to keep the engine at a constant RPM, especially if it's something high like 6000RPM.

EDIT2: If I were the owner, I would replace the stock oil filter and change the oil at 3K, no matter the recommended first interval.

Oh...I forgot Neil Huffman is the Acura dealer here. How did you do on the negotiating? That's where I worked (well, the Honda store in Clarksville) so I could have run you through their exact process. ;)

Nice pics, though.
