did you saw back and forth at the rubber seal to get the ihs off? and have you varified if just from those little marks it doeanst work?
 
See scrape on chipboard near corner on bottom left...that's my guess what killed it. The dark coloring around the transistors was present when I first opened it so I think that's the way it always was.
 
I'm not convinced. i've seen pics where people have scrapped away more when removing the IHS, and it has still booted worked and OCed just fine.
 
That core is huge though - AMD can't be making much off these.

Looks like 4 x the size of a venice CPU.
 
this is something i read that might help you bring it back to life.

put some electrical tape over the spots with the bare copper exposed.

that seemed to have helped someone bring a chip back to life.
