This is not my favorite paint, but it still craps all over the Depot/Lowe's brands and for that price it is a KILLER deal. Impossible to justify ponying up the extra for Moore or Dunn w/ the SW at this price.

Is it mainly application that's easier, or would Sherwin-Williams last longer than Home Depot Behr too?

I haven't used it long enough to compare durability to Behr, but the difference in ease of application is night and day in favor of SW.

Hmmm not bad, I'm needing some paint to repaint some wrought iron bars. I'm sure they carry stuff for a job like that..

SW Aura is by far my favorite paint. Low vox, almost no smell, and it goes on nice and thick. Over the years, I have used pretty much every brand, and SW paint in my opinion is by far the best. It holds great.
Sure wish my wife didn't like changing colors of rooms every 6 months.

FYI: Aura is made by Benjamin Moore, not Sherwin-Williams.

Actually, the Behr Ultra Premium super mega (or whatever they call it) is about the only passable big box store paint that I've had any success with. It covers well and isn't too bad to apply, but to get Sherwin-Williams for 2/3rds the price is a no-brainer.

Has anyone confirmed if this is regional or if there are any limits?

Did you mean to say Benjamin Moore Aura?

Awesome! Thanks. I'm going to close on a house and need to paint. It's good to have a deal that saves some serious money for a change instead of a measly $30 off a video card of something.
