Between Scaramucci being fired and Arpaio being convicted, this week's off to a great start. At this rate, I wonder where we'll be by Friday.
 
Arpaio is 85. I figure it would be inhumane & pointless to put him anywhere other than a federal minimum security facility.

NO ONE, republican or otherwise has a right to a jury trial in a petty criminal contempt of court case.

Carrying a maximum sentence of 6 months means the offence is petty.

So what you are arguing is for special treatment for republicans and conservatives while trying to strawman a position absolutely no one (with the possible exception of agent00f) holds.

Agreed. Yet, he's still the same guy with the same attitude that gives him the same potential for the shenanigans he's built his notoriety on. I'm hoping his terms of conviction include removing his ability to do just that, or justice is not being served.
