She died she died
I cried I cried
Time to buy a new ride new ride
My Accord Finally bit the dust...
She was burning oil like a Harpie, feeding off of my hard earned money with no conscience to guide her.
The Suspension was shot due to a bent rim, the egine was knockin; the car would not start sometimes due to some issue with sunlight shutting off the fuel pump, and a whole bunch of other issues that do not warrant mentioning in such a time of grief...
Recently, it had been "popping" rather violently, shaking ferociously as the oil ignited withing her underbelly.
Finally, as I was driving on 395south today it all went to sh!t.
The rev counter started going bonkers. She was going from 1k to 6k to 0k to 6k.....and finally..finally...she died right there, coasting in neutral at 50mph....I had shifted into neutral to advert some sort of cataclysmic nuclear detonation, and little did I know that that would be the last Hoorah for my dear lady.
Lady, I will miss you. There was never a finer 1990 Honda Accord LX. You toured me to places that I would never had enjoyed without your company, you survived multiple attacks on your life by incompetant drivers, you lived through surjery famine and thirst, and in the end, I am a better man for having witnessed such loyalty.
Goodnight, my dear. You queen of automotica.
UPDATE:
IT'S ALIVE
Turned out that the fuel filter was jammed up and the spark plugs were covered in oil!!!!
WHOPPY...MORE MONEY TO SPEND:!
$250
<---really can but sort of can't afford a new used car right now
