I shave M-F while taking a shower. After I shampoo my hair, and before I rinse it out, I just rub some of it from my head onto my face and shave in about 30 seconds.

Its okay to go for a little while with stubble. Try wearing a necktie to be a little more formal on those days. It is a good way to not let the stubble get noticed.

Thats some sort of super-power. I can't shave in the shower. (though, it doesn't help that I'm basically blind without my glasses).

i havent used a razor since my wedding day. i use clippers with no attachment on my face and head about once a week. i also have a 5" long goatee, which my boss doesnt really like. he would like me to trim it to under an inch long but whatever. i compromised and shaved off the mustache. if i have to see customers later in the week ill shave the night before so i dont look all raggedy.

Isn't it though? What's equally amazing is that after 40 years, I'm able to aim food for my mouth and get it in without sticking myself in the nose or cheeks with a fork - and I manage to eat without looking into a mirror!

Seriously, though, I can't figure out why a mirror is necessary, unless you have to trim the edge of a beard. But, I'm amazed at how many people don't think they can shave without a mirror. You'd think that after doing it a few thousand times, they'd know where their face was.

Shaving without a mirror is OK if you're clean shaving each time, rather than just trimming or getting length down to a certain level. Then, without a mirror, you wouldn't know if you were even enough or where to stop for sideburns etc.

For fuck's sake, it's 2011 and a beard is still considered "unprofessional" in so many workplaces. Come on!

I last shaved for a job in 2002, and it was with a set of beard clippers and no guard. I've shaved with a razor under a thousand times.

Honestly can't remember the last time i shaved to the skin. Beard ftw. Self employed so if they don't like it, too bad.

My current job doesn't have a problem with beards. I keep it trimmed instead of letting it go crazy like a homeless person because I think it will help me advance faster in the company, but at least its a fair middle ground.

Who is dead. So now you are arguing that it is a sign of manliness because of the culture of England in the 1500s.

I shave every other day, although I do not think it would be a huge deal if I did it less frequently. It would not look good though as my beard does not grow in evenly.

I always shave at night and sometimes, I skip a night. I usually have a stubble by the end of each day and pretty heavy stubble if it's a two day between shave. I hate shaving.

There is no argument, it's a sign of manliness everywhere since forever since men have beards and women don't.

Every morning for almost a year a straight. Once this deployment is over and I'm on leave for a few weeks, I'll be growing a damn lumberjack beard.

for those of you who shave everyday, doesn't your beard start growing faster/thicker?

I probably 'should' shave everyday (work in a bank), but if I do it regularly the stubble just becomes too thick .. hate that shit

Use to shave every other day, but now it's almost daily because my facial hair is uneven. There's more on one side than the other (still coming in, guess why!). So I'm forced to shave it for balance.

Going for the scruffy bum look once it comes in fully.

I shave everyday.
I'm very young so I don't even try to get a beard because it would look really bad, and I don't really want one to be honest.
