Shaving for work

So ATOT, how many of you actually try and keep your face looking clean-shaven for work? I am torn about whether to just let stubble grow for a few days before shaving (as I normally would), or going clean-shaven in order to appear more "professional".

Note that this thread is intended more for white-collar financial/legal people who work in an office environment.

Right now I'm at 2 days w/o shaving. Normally I shave every day, but I'm test-driving the rugged look. However, we have an extremely casual dress culture here (I'm not even sure there's a dress code).

I shave every 2 days, but I'm one that still looks neat with stubble. Other people can't pull that off so well.

It sucks. When I shave, all you see are years of craters on my face. When I grow even a little stubble, all you see is grey hair growing out of black skin.

I can't win either way. With the way I look all the time, I am surprised someone even employs me. 🙁

When I have to go into the office or to a client site, then I shave.

The other half of the time when I'm working from home I don't except for every 3-5 days, depending on my mood.

I don't work in an office environment but I still shave every morning. I would shave in the evening if I wasn't so tired and usually do if I am going anywhere of consequence after work.

Well, I'm in your target demo here. Attorney, business dress code M-Th (Govt).

I used to shave every other day. I think a day's worth of stubble suits me pretty well. Then I decided I'd try an electric razor about a week ago, so I've been using that daily to try and get my skin used to it. I actually do kind of like being clean shaven every day at the office, but I don't like that this thing is irritating the hell out of my skin. They say to give it 3 weeks, so I will.

I used to use one, but they started making my skin break out. I switched back to razors and can usually shave in 5 minutes or less now.

My skin is really irritated from it. Actually, I did get a zit recently, and I rarely get them at all. Could be the damn razor.

Uhh, buy an electric and spend all of 2 minutes shaving in the morning?

Electric shavers are a joke to me, they take just as long as a good safety razor and don't provide nearly as good a shave.

I shave every other day, usually, or I'll shave on the off day if I have a date.

I can go over a week without shaving, its amazing. I do get stubble, but genetics have blessed me with a very slow and sparse facial hair coupled with blond hair.

Even going something like a couple of months without shaving, I have nothing to show but 1 or 2 long hairs.
