Shaun of The Dead - 92% on RT

I saw it... maybe i just don't understand British humor, but it wasn't all that funny for me. Only the first 30 mins were, after that it was pretty boring for me.

It was a surpisingly good movie. I went in expecting a few guffaws etc but it had more than just a few laughs. Two thumbs up!

I am gonna see it tonight (that is if i dont fall asleep. i haven't got any sleep in the past 4 days!!). It's gonna be the first time in a while I am gonna see a midnight flick with my gf...

Rottentomatoes is going downhill lately.
They have weird ratings for lots of recent movies.

I've stopped trusting them. Some movies that I found to be outstanding have crappy ratings and other movies that I found aweful had good ratings. Guess I'm not a "masses" type person.

Isn't that the definition of someone having bad taste in movies?

Excellent movie. I thought it was very funny, and the zombies were well done. Reminded me a bit of Peter Jackson's Dead Alive.

Shaun Of The Dead and Dead Alive (aka Braindead) are two of the funniest films I've seen in a long time! 🙂

Both of them had me laughing uncontrollably throughout!

Saw it this weekend with some friends, this movie was great. I really dug the homages to George Romero (For example, the total re-enactment of the "rip open the stomach" scene from Day of the Dead), and how all of the little details fit in perfectly with the original "plot" of the real zombie movies. A lot of real funny situational humor. Definately 2 thumbs up by me.
