He retweeted a tweet that said Fuck the 4th, the flag and anthem.

This is sickening how he can attack the US like this and it's so disrespectful especially on July 4th. Why does he hate America and why would he do something as despicable as this?

I never heard of this fellow until just a couple of days ago. Could someone explain to me why cultural appropriation is bad but racial appropriation is ok? Not just being a dick here, I really am curious.
There was also a white woman a while back pretending to be black (worked for the NAACP I think), and as I recall, it didn't end well for her.

I don't know who Shaun King is, nor do I care, but he evidently is a shock jock like Howard Stern who will say anything to try to be controversial, the trouble with that is, nothing he says makes any difference to anyone else.

Rachel Dolezal. She was the NAACP president of the Spokane, Wa chapter, where I grew up. She's also headed to jail for welfare fraud, after misstating her income to DSHS, even though she received $80k plus from book sales. But, this is about content of character, more than it is about skin color, which she faked.
