The guy is quick as hell and solid to boot, GREAT over all player who reads his blockers VERY well. Not to bright when it comes to picking up those line backers though, he kinna zones in on the safety's and gets hit from the side or from behind alot. If you notice, all his plays were made when the line backers were either a step behind, blitzing or completely shut out by blockers. Every time line backers knew there was a run coming, he got almost nowhere. It really showed in the second half, as he never took off to the outside unless the play call specifically had him running outside. He had a few key opportunitiens that he could have capitalized on with his speed. Of course not everyone can be a marshal faulk .

Dont even compare him to Terrel Davis!!, the guy was a human plow. Shaun is a pretty small guy im compairison.

Whoa, i'm a Broncos die hard fan here, don't worry.

But since Terrell's "retirement", we could use a high calibre running back like Alexander. (not that Olandis Gary, Clinton Portis and Mike Anderson are bad but hey, why not? )

Whoa, i'm a Broncos die hard fan here, don't worry.

But since Terrell's "retirement", we could use a high calibre running back like Alexander. (not that Olandis Gary, Clinton Portis and Mike Anderson are bad but hey, why not? )

Anderson is pretty good, his burst speed seems a little low(long legs maybe?), he pretty much seems to have more upper body power than leg power from what I can tell. Broncos and Ahman Green would make for a KILLER running game. Green upsets me though, he's 6'0 and only 217, he needs to gain about 10 or 15 pounds of muscle like Terrell Davis did way back in the day, MAN, that guy would be something else if he added a little extra size.

i hear ya on the fantasy thing, he's done crap for me this yeah. and i'm from minnesota so go figure he'd get the 5 td's againts us. We do suck tho.

Good choice, Ron Dane weighs in at almost 260 pounds and still has decent speed and agility, he's a Heisman Trophy winner and has never had a serious injury. I'm sure they knew that Alexander is good enough to be a starter, and there is no rush to replace Tiki Barber. I think NY took Dayne because of his sheer power. Alex wouldn't be any good with NY's O-Line anyway.

power? hahaha... ron dayne runs straight into the o-line and falls. and usually he falls straight down... not forward as the coaches would like.
