I picked it up for $5 on Steam this week and it's fun for an hour or so. Granted, I'm spoiled by the greatness of MW2, so Shattered Horizons seems pretty dull to me. An FPS with only one weapon is just not cutting it, but it was $5 so no great loss.

Others might really like it, though. MW2 has ruined all other FPS games for me unfortunately...

I actually enjoy the fact that it only has one weapon... far more of the strategy is then based on mastering the controls and finding spots to turn off your suit and get surprise attacks on people.

For me it is refreshing, no one can claim that you beat them because you had a better weapon pickup or because certain weapons are better than others in the right situation.

I heard there is going to be mods for in the future, since they are releasing editors. I think this could change it into one of the best games ever, but I would say it is great for a $10 game let alone less. The only thing I don't like is the sliding is too lethargic for my tastes, I can't do any dodging or fancy maneuvering like I could in Descent.
