Angle does not believe that the United States Constitution mandates the separation of church and state.

Angle believes that the U.S. Department of Education should be eliminated

Angle believes in United States withdrawal from the United Nations

Angle does not believe that the United States Constitution mandates the separation of church and state.

Angle has stated that she opposes legalizing marijuana and has stated that she feels the same about alcohol.

Angle is pro-life and opposes abortion, including in cases of rape or incest

As a state legislator, she had sponsored a bill to remove the requirement that health insurers cover mammograms and colonoscopies.

Angle has said that the Social Security system should be "transitioned out"

Angle favors eliminating the complete Internal Revenue Service code.

Angle claims that the U.S.-Canada border is the "most porous border we have" and "what we know is our northern border is where the terrorists came through". U.S. law enforcement have long determined that none of the hijackers entered the U.S. from Canada, but directly from third countries with visas issued by the United States

Seriously, it doesn't shock and amaze people that this woman is a hair breadths away from being a US Senator?

Maybe Angle is right. Maybe we should get guns. To protect ourselves from Sharron Angle,.

Obama believes the Constitution provides negative rights
Obama believes white man invented aids
Obama believes you've made enough money, need to spread it around
Obama believes in marxism
Obama follows an anti-colonialist mentality
Obama doesn't believe in free enterprise or free market
Obama doesn't believe in capitalism and downright thinks it's evil

That should scare the crap out of this country way more than the next senator from Nevada.

Angle does not believe that the United States Constitution mandates the separation of church and state.

It doesn't.

Angle believes that the U.S. Department of Education should be eliminated

It should.

Angle believes in United States withdrawal from the United Nations

Fantastic.

Angle does not believe that the United States Constitution mandates the separation of church and state.

Again, it doesn't.

Angle has stated that she opposes legalizing marijuana and has stated that she feels the same about alcohol.

Completely disagree with her here. In fact, two :thumbsdown:.

Angle is pro-life and opposes abortion, including in cases of rape or incest

Disagree with her here, too. But abortion is a very divisive issue.

As a state legislator, she had sponsored a bill to remove the requirement that health insurers cover mammograms and colonoscopies.

Bad policy on top of bad policy. That's not the way to fix health care.

Angle has said that the Social Security system should be "transitioned out"

It should. And for a handful of reasons.

Angle favors eliminating the complete Internal Revenue Service code.

 Is she single? :awe:

Nevertheless, you can't cut taxes until we cut spending.

Angle claims that the U.S.-Canada border is the "most porous border we have" and "what we know is our northern border is where the terrorists came through". Gee, the only difference between our posts and mine are that I posted Angles stated positions as found on Wiki, and yours originated in your paranoid and delusional mind.

See the difference?

And most importantly:

Angle will be a fringe radical and therefore completely contained by the rest of the senate but will knock out Harry Reid, whom no one likes but is too well connected and savvy to be contained in a similar manner.

Single senators still have a good amount of power to throw cogs into the system. Just look at the senator that placed tons of anonymous holds on nominees and such...

Her stance about drugs/alcohol, and rape/incest are pretty repugnant, but otherwise ...ok.

+1 indeed. I'll always take "not too bright" over "corrupt" politicians - not that Harry Reid is MENSA material himself.

Those are the points that should truly sink her.
The woman doesn't belong anywhere near the US senate.
If Reid wern't such a fucknut we wouldn't even be having this debate.

Obama believes the Constitution provides negative rights

Who knows what nonsense this is about

Obama believes white man invented aids

Spidey lies. Possible? I don't know the history, has some sort of biological warfare research gone wrong been ruled out, and a natural cause been proven? Obama doesn't believe that.

Obama believes you've made enough money, need to spread it around

Spidey lies.

Obama believes in marxism

I believe it exists as an ideology in books, too. Spidey lies again, though.

Obama follows an anti-colonialist mentality

To the extent he does, good for him. Spidey has no morals, supporting colonialism.

Obama doesn't believe in free enterprise or free market

Spidey lies.

Obama doesn't believe in capitalism and downright thinks it's evil

Spidey lies.

Guess I should mention 95% of the claims about liberals' positions I see here are wrong or lies, the other 5% I can't remember.

That should scare the crap out of this country way more than the next senator from Nevada.

Since by 'the country' you mean 'Spidey', then you have a point.

No it hasn't. It's been more since JFK.

Let's see, 3 examples off the top of my head:

- Philippines early 20th century

- Cuba 1900-1959

- Supporting the French re-colonization of Vietnam 1950's, including paying up to 90% of their war costs Many, many more though.

One could also argue that the entire westward expansion of the US was a large colonial movement.

Craig LIES.
I can do it too.
BTW, http://www.businessweek.com/news/20...are-help-obama-spread-the-wealth-around-.html
Obama said he wanted to "spread the wealth around" when on the campaign trail in 08.
That's why we all heard the idiodic mindless automotons that blindly follwed him and said stupid shit like Obama's going to pay for my car and mortgage.
Basically, Obama, and liberal philosophy is to take from the rich and prosporous and give to the lazy.

Obama was referring to spreading the wealth of the economy's growth that has been being horded by a very few at the top.

One measure: 65 cents of every growth dollar has been kept by the top 1%. Another: zero of the growth after inflation has gone to the bottom 80%.

It used to be said 'a rising tide lifts all boats', but it hasn't for 30 years, and changed to 'a rising tide lifts all yachts'.

The statement that Obama wants to spread YOUR wealth around is a lie about what he said - he was not talking about the wealth of 98% of Americans, just the top hoarders.

Edit: I should probably say this even more simply and clearly for some.

Obama's actual position: the US is seeing record levels of wealth concentration with shifts of income away from everyone else to the very top unprecedented in our history, and we would do well to reverse the policies that cause this, so we have a more balanced distribution of economic growth.

That's a big reason why Obama supported increasing taxes on the top 2%.

Spidey's version is a lie: Obama wants to spread more of a generalized you - everyone's - YOUR wealth around than the government already does.

He lied about Obama's position. And Jeffrey lied about my pointing that out being wrong.

One could also argue that the entire westward expansion of the US was a large colonial movement.

Subtle distinction, but probably not quite technically colonial in that it was an expansion of the home country. Why Scotland isn't a colony of the UK, and India was.

Even worse for the natives though, with 90%+ killed. Goes to show how power disparities warp people's morality. 'Divine Providence' indeed.

Funny thing is, it's not as simple as 'it was wrong' in that case. It really does raise an issue of 'superior use of resource' that's compelling enough to challenge our common wisdom today against any aggressive war to take land. But it could obviously be done in a lot more human manner.

While eventually most if not all of the "territories" became part of the US there was a distinct geographic separation between the home country and the places being settled. Texas, California and Oregon/Washington are probably the best examples.
Enough of that though I don't want to derail the thread too much on account of Spidey's nonsense.

So, you want 100 US Senators who all sound the same and don't take "risky" positions?

That's stupid

There's a difference between risky and innovative and "THE STUPID! IT BURNS!!!1".
Mrs. Angle falls in to the latter.
