Interesting, she responded to tell him they were talking about one thing, and what? because she didn't want to discuss other issues it's news? Smells like desperation.

Well yeah she is getting kind of desperate. She knows that when she opens her mouth, she makes Palin sound smart.

You definately have a future in comedy. Anyone on the left would be absolutely delighted with Palin running for Presidency, especially if she got the GOP nomination. The best incumbency insurance Obama could buy.

BTW, what campaign? Palin has never announced for Presidency and it is highly doubtful she will actually do so, as it would interfere with her gravy train from Faux News, speaking tours and her books.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sadly as a Leftie, I want to agree with Thump533, but I am terrified that Palin could end up more a Ronald Reagan than a Barry Goldwater.

To some extent, I think its possible to almost prove, that left to only their own intellect, both Ronald Reagan and GWB could not manage even a tiny business because of their own personal delusions and inability to understand reality.

Somewhat luckily for this country and the larger world, Ronald Reagan surrounded himself quite a few pretty competent people that partially compensated for Reagan's fantasies. And sadly some people like Weinberger, North, Poindexter, and so many others that screwed up our country and did massive damage to make up for the few
competent people Reagan fired. As for GWB, he was such a screw up in the fact he did not surround himself with anyone remotely resembling sane.

As for Palin, I doubt she could even put together an administration staffed by anyone other than Palin PR types.

The other thing to point out, is that many in the Reagan administration religiously watched the evening network news, and when Reagan was getting bad PR, they rushed to change policy to correct the bad PR. And the GWB administration spent their evening reading the bible, ignored all criticism, and when results proved their policies were not working, they ignored that too.

How is asking if she spoke at the press conference "deflecting"? Grasp at more more straws.

You're either stupid or playing games. The deflection was in ignoring the other outlets mentioned and going off in another direction. Face it, you've got nothing.

She's a waste of oxygen and is the epitome of what the GOP has become ... uninformed, reactionary, against all things intellectual.

Nothing is exactly what this "news" story is. the man speaking even said she wasn't answering questions, but all the "media" flocked after her trying to get something juicy for them to spin one way or another, she didn't give it to them so they spun that. So far it seems all the other "news" outlets covering this breaking story besides the leftist bloggers are leftist media. I still don't believe that she called the press conference, looks more like something someone at that business was doing, and invited her there, doesn't look like any "press conference" I have ever seen.

Yep her and Rand Paul are not answering any questions.

Funny how just about anybody you could think of to poll against Reid would lose 6 months ago; yet Republicans/Tea Party put Angle up and now Reid is up in the polls. :)

Umm, Rand Paul was in a public debate with Conway just yesterday.

Lazy lazy lazy. It's up front on Channel 3 KSNV, The Las Vegas Sun, The Reno Gazette Journal, and Channel 4 KNRV.

That was from 30 seconds worth of Google.

Well Daverino, if I were a political candidate, and wanted to talk about an issue near and dear to a particular constituency, I could not possibly pick a worse place to talk about the issues of the death tax than the venue of hotel workers who earn a meager living cleaning hotel laundry. No wonder Angle ran like hell.

My local weather man is a more accurate news person than MSNBC.

Did she speak at the "press conference"?

Do you only watch one news outlest or get your news from fox new entertainment.....

While no one news source is infallible at least msnbc doesnt report outright lies like fox news.....

Seriously many of you need to broaden your news outlets... Blogs are not news......fox is not news......

Now what the stupid and gullible do not understand is that cable news outlets only report news about 1/4 of the time. All the talking head shows are supposed to be opinion shows and used to be marketed as such. In essence the afternoon news cycles would be more factual and the Bill orly;s of the world could spout off whatever nonsensical ramblings at night they wanted.
Sadly what has happened though is fox and msnbc to some extent have created an ideologically driven news stories based on conjecture or outright lies. Has fox news ever reported or apologizes for its reporting of Acorn?

CallMeJoe

Guess my brain got side tracked (I was doing a couple of things at once). The post above FNE's referred to Palin. Attacks by the right on Clinton somehow brought to mind Bill Clinton.

Guess the old brain is not up to playing poker, browsing the sales promotions from Newegg, Mwave, Harbor Freight, in my email, and absorbing the forum content all at once.

Maybe if Lycos mail ever gets back up to speed loading, I won't keep switching between it and the forums when I fold a poker hand. lol

Come on, Fox is fair and balanced. It's in their logo.

Idiot. I love when someone doesn't agree they must only watch Fox, such a shallow mentality in this country. I get news from all over and make my decisions based on different sources. I learned a long time ago not to take any one source at face value, everyone has an agenda.

Angle does best just reading talking points prepared by her handlers, rather than speaking her own mind, such as it is.

Expect the game to continue along those lines until (and if) she's properly schooled in the usual arts of rightwing obfuscation and deception. She's currently enrolled in the Michelle Bachmann school of outrage expression with independent studies under Jim DeMint...

It may be one of those "can't teach a goldfish to fetch" kinda deals, however...

I'll take Harry Reid, give 9 points...

This whole thing is so hilarious, any normal Republican or plain old conservative candidate could have walked all over Harry Reid. But, the extremist idealogs win the primary with a clown who can't talk off the cuff without having a minumum of a 4 day clean-up defending herself.

Heh. Nevada republicans have enough trouble dealing with the shenanigans of the other Nevada senator, Ensign, whose conduct has been less than inspirational. That'll keep 'em in disarray for years, which is how Angle took the nomination.

Not to mention that Harry Reid is an truly tough guy, a political veteran, and an insider's insider wrt Nevada politics. He also successfully opposed Yucca Mountain, a victory near and dear to the hearts of Nevadans in general, and has a long history of bringing home the bacon to Nevada. I wouldn't bet against him any more than I'd bet against the prig from Utah, the voice of the Mormon Church in Washington, Orrin Hatch.

He had a great photo in "The American Rifleman" cutting the ribbon on a new range. He's gonna eat her lunch.

I love a politician who can't talk. Makes for great theater, if you can get beyond the drool cup.

You sir are the idiot if you think that the majority of the people that watch fox watch anything else... BTW I do not believe blogs are news....
