Probably not. Why would you want to use it for a scantron-type thing anyway? It's not like it's the most difficult thing in the world.

When I was a kid I hated that I had to carry pencils for those stupid tests. I carried a pen. But something like this would have been awesome if it worked for those forms. Best of both worlds.

Looks pretty cool. But can you snap it in half at someone when you are pissed and want to make a point like a pencil? Or throw them up and make them stick to the ceiling panels when you are bored? No, probably not.....but I'll get them anyway.

That was true in the early models, but they've come a long way. This Sharpie looks like the exact same thing already out there being repackaged with a different name. Instead of calling it an erasable pen it's being called a liquid pencil. Still erases, still becomes permanent after time. All they're doing is trying to hide the stigma of "erasable pens" for people who remember the crappy old Paper-Mate models instead of the new ones that work very well.

hrm, I was unaware new erasable pens would become permanent after an amount of time.

Why is this better than a regular pencil?

read above. however, I will take a regular ol' #2 pencil any day over this. and if I want a pen, I'll use my Pilot EasyTouch med point... haven't used a pen nicer than this for feel.

At work, I use colored pencils to mark up drawing for drafters all day long. So, if these come out in Red, Green, & Blue, I'm all over them.

It will be nice to be able to erase and not sharpen a pencil every 5 minutes.

I must have these. I keep meticulous records of my guests, but sometimes, I mess up. You see, my guests are often under some duress when I'm taking notes, so they don't speak clearly, and I need to go back and make corrections. Currently I pencil everything in and then type my reports up later. This works fine, except that the pencil is a little too light and it strains my eyes to read for long periods of time. These new Sharpies solve that problem, and they become permanent after a few days. These pens solve so many problems and function so well, I'm surprised they don't have the Apple logo on them. Anyway, I'll certainly be buying them in bulk.

please begin regularly posting some of your reports. Begin with the ones you think we would find the most entertaining.
