For those of you dedicated to linux, and whom don't want to have to install it yourself on an existing PPC PDA. The Price isn't that low, but this just came out...

The retail Linux PDA!

By the way, they were selling the Developers Version of Zaurus(32mb ram vs 64mb ram of Consumer version) for $200 at JavaOne in San Francisco last week

For $499 I'd probably get an IPAQ and put Linux on it if I really wanted to run Linux.

if my memory serves me correctly,
this is not the first linux pda.

i think casio had the first.
i remember they were selling one for around $50.
it obviously isn't as good as this sharp...
but it was linux.

Linux Java PDA would be nice but, for that price It needs a built in phone too like the Samsung SPH-I300, maybe when G3 rolls out. And if it's not too much to ask a wireless plan with unlimited internet access would be good to!
