it's a matter of taste, but i wouldn't get a monitor that big with that low of resolution. for an LCD 17" or above, i'd want 1600x1200. i use a 15" 1600x1200 and anything with less resolution reminds me of the 640x480 Windows 3.11 days. but if that resolution sounds good to you, the specs look fine except it doesn't say what the response time is.

I can't comment on that Sharp since I haven't seen one but I am very happy with my Samsung 192t (its silver as well). Similiar price range ($659 at NewEgg right now). I game frequently and have no issues. The only reason I don't plan on buying another is because I want a 213t now. I have some threads scattered around if you want to search and see me talk about switching to LCD from large CRTs (22" and 21") in more detail.

Edit = As far as the resolution being 1280x1024 I think thats about the perfect res for me at 19". I do run 1600x1200 on my two big CRTs though. And like the looks of the 213t with a native res of 1600x1200 as well. But 1280x1024 is fine for me on this 19".

Resolution is standard with all 19" LCDs on the market. I don't think you can go wrong with this LCD, you might be able to find one slightly better but I'm sure you could only tell if you compared them side by side.
