At staples.com they have the Sharp UX355 Plain-paper fax for 79.98. Use the coupon found on other sites for $25 off of $75 and free shipping to drop the price to $54.98. Then send in the Mail-in rebate for $30 back. This bring the price down to $24.98 (plus whatever you have to pay in sales tax on the $54.98) Seams like a good deal to me. Mine is supposed to be delivered tomarrow

25 bucks for a fax machine is definitely a deal. I received this fax machine about a month ago but I had lots of problems. It could be just mine. However, the carbon paper will cost a lot in the long run,

I bought one.Great for $ 25.00 especially if your incom fax volume is low. You can get the imaging film ( " carbon paper " ) a little cheaper at Costco. Another thing you can do is run the imaging film though one more time before tossing it - of course quality will suffer but it is legible.

You can always sign up with www.faxwave.com for a convenient way of receiving faxes. No need for a dedicated fax line & you never have to use that relatively expensive imaging paper in your new Sharp fax machine.

I know what you mean. Copying all of the rebate paper work has become a full time business. Now what you need is a &quot;Hotdealscanner&quot; to go with your new FAX machine. Those can be found for under $10.

The rebate form states that the purchase must be made between Jan 07 and Jan 13th! It's already January 16th!

OP, Edit your original post so that no one goes for this, as the rebate is now expired!

smigs, Staples provides you with an &quot;Instant Rebate&quot; of $20, which is just a coupon. Better to use one of the $30.00 off, then call in and try to get the one posted at the site. Then there is a $20.00 MIR from Sharp, which Staples also has there for you if you look.
