Sharon: "Im sorry that that we did not kill [arafat]"

I can understand those words, coming from a murdering terrotist like Sharon. I don't want Sharon killed. I want to see him tried for crimes against humanity. :|

"Im sorry that that we did not kill [arafat]"

So am I.

Too bad we gave that rebel terrorist recognition in the first place. He has done absolutely nothing to stop the killing of innocent people by the Hamas and Jihad and other scumbags who strap on bombs and blow themselves up in public places killing women and children. He is no better than Castro. He is in the same class as Bin Laden.

Arafat would say the same of Sharon and has wished him dead many times. No love lost here.

We just had a talk today from a 25 year old man who was a successful stock broker, who decided to quit his job to do outreach type jobs.
He goes to Israel to comfort the families of terror victims. Some of the stories he tells are just tragic. There was a patent worker (I think, it was some gov't job) who was just at work, minding his own business, when
suddenly a terrorist walks in and shoots him from point blanc range, and kills him, leaving a wife and an 18-month old son. He told of a child who was going through his bar mitzvah mere months after his father was shot by a Palestinian terrorist who just walked out of a car and started shooting everywhere.
These people make life a living hell for Israelis, and Arafat could stop them. Too bad Sharon didn't give the sniper the go ahead in 1982.

It's kinda hard for Arafat to do his job if he's trapped in his compound by Israeli tanks. Plus, mowing down civilian homes doesn't help the Israeli cause either.

I think both leaders should step down and let a new generation take over.

What? A new generation of Palestinians that have been brainwashed by textbooks paid for by Canada? I think the Mossad needs to go in there and start an anti-brainwashing campaign.

He didn't kill Arafat because he was too busy killing 1300 women and children at Sabra and Chatilla . Did he say if he regrets killing them?

first off, only 800 died at sabra and shatilla. Second, he did not kill those people. The Phalangists did. He trained them, but they lost control after the death of one of their leaders.
Sharon was never found to be more than "negligent" and that was by a comission who had the agenda of ousting Sharon from the government, facts be damned. However, it is clear the Kahane commision did not succeed in that regard, thankfully.

He got a whitewash last tine but he's about to be indicted gain, this time by an impartial jury. Even if he kills half of his old partners in Lebanon with car bombs.

The Kahane jury was as bad as sending him in front of a jury of Nazis. They tried to be judge jury executioner, but the evidence wasn't there. If you look at it, you realize that this "war criminal" stuff is propoganda feces meant to discredit Sharon, and the Israeli government as a whole. It won't work!

<< With everything going on these days...do you think we are at the beginning of WW3? >>

Yes. I think we've seen nothing yet.

<< first off, only 800 died at sabra and shatilla. Second, he did not kill those people. The Phalangists did. He trained them, but they lost control after the death of one of their leaders.. >>

By your reasoning ben Laden didn't kill anybody either just people he trained did.

Sharon has been killing inocent people since he was a teenager with the Irgun and the Stern Gang.

I'm not going to even pretend that Sharon is a nice guy. He really is not a nice guy and should be held accountable for what he has done in the past. Arafat has turned into a useless leader who just sits there saying "I didn't do it, I had no control". Meanwhile it continues and he does jack. Both of them suck.

<< Both of them suck. >>

true, true. there must be something in the water over there b/c the idiocy is not limited to just these 2.

<< He is no better than Castro. >>

Ahhh yes, the REAL evil. After all, anyone who drives out the americans and frees his country from being the US' casino and whorehouse must be evil.

<< true, true. there must be something in the water over there b/c the idiocy is not limited to just these 2. >>

same thing here. Just look at all the idiots blindly supporting israel no matter what they do......sad..

Didn't Sharon win a lawsuit against Time magazine for libel for saying he was guilty of war crimes?

Can anyone find some more information on the lawsuit.

Also look up Damour Lebanon and Arafat if you believe he is a role model of a leader.

It's all amatter of perspectibve. Are the Palestinians terrorists or..............but then again I guess the Germans thought the French Resistance during WWII were terrorists also.

LOL! I've been wanting to ask people what became of Passner and why I hadn't sit6ed him anywhere. Well, there's the *should I say* surprise! *A sudden appearance of Passner!* 😀

Anyway, back to subject: I do not like Arafat, but neither do I like Sharon! I think Sharon is clearly determined not to make peace. In other words, I think he's determined to dislike the Palestinian authorities, if not the people, for eternity and he thinks they are worthless beings, provided human at all. A sad case . . . very sad, but one can only take so little of the crap between those two genetically related groups. . . . :disgust:

From Israel to Damascus -The Internet Edition

From Chapter 8:

"At 7:30 p.m. on September 16, 1982, Hobeika and I arrived at General Ariel Sharon?s Headquarters. We climbed up to the terrace of the tall building next to the Kuweity Embassy. From there we could plunge right into the camp and have an overhead view. Besides the Israeli officers, Assaad Shaftari, Michel Zouein, Elie Hobeika «H.K.» and myself were poised and ready.

The Israeli officers were jealous and filled with rage, blaming Hobeika for actually ordering the massacre of Palestinian civilians. Hobeika coldly retorted that it was because of the darkness he could not tell who they were. General Sharon, being too fat to climb up the flight of stairs, waited on the second floor to see Hobeika and have it out with him personally. The minute he saw him he roared out: «You were not supposed to do this. I didn?t ask you to commit massacres. If I wanted, I would have done so with my tanks. You?ll pay dearly for this blunder!» Hobeika replied that he would handle it with his men. Hobeika and I went back on the terrace. Hobeika got a walkie talkie message from a guy called «Paul» saying, «There are women and children, what should we do?» Hobeika answered, «It?s your lookout and don?t call me back again, you sh*t.»

Hobeika, Zouein, Shaftari and I ran back down to the second story where an Israeli officer drew a map of the site with a piece of chalk on the floor, pointing to where the massacres were taking place. That is when we had confirmation that it was Maroun Machaalani?s unit which was involved at the entrance of Sabra Camp.

Hobeika went back to report to General Sharon his account of events. General Sharon ordered his men to fire flares from that moment on until 4:00 a.m. to avoid a further blunder. It was too late. The harm was done. All the victims were civilians killed with grenades, hatchets, assault rifles, knives. Some of the corpses were even boobie-trapped."

what do you expect from a nation that actively uses segregation.

couple of examples:

1) arab israeli government sponsored schools just suck, they have extremely limited funding, are forced to teach jewish religious texts, they have far larger groups too.

result: arab israelis will always be the lower class.

2) infrastructure in mostly arab areas is less develloped than in mostly jewish areas. The government funds both a secular construction plan, and then a couple of jewish inspired companies, this results in jewish areas being far better develloped than in arab areas.

3) the arab population (20%) accounts for 2% of the medical budget.

etc, etc.
