You failed to mention that the place in which the attack took place is a checkpoint where innocent Palestinians who wants to work inside Israel, are allowed in. Israeli money feeds many Palestinian families. Yet, the terrorists marked this place for attacks. This shows you that a terrorist's cause is never pure. His wish to hurt his enemy is so great that he doesn't mind hurting his own people - those he is fighting for, after all - on the way. On the contrary: those who planned this latest attack (which isn't the first in that specific checkpoint, and unfortunately not the last) wanted Israel to close the checkpoint in return, so those poor Palestinians who want to earn a living can't go to work, thus creating even more hate towards Israel, so the support in terror actions among the Palestinian population is on the rise again... But Israel guessed that from the first place and didn't close the checkpoint!!!

You have no idea how much false and lacking reports you people get; the situation is very complicated and very delicate. Palestinians are refusing to put down their weapons so countless attacks are taking place on a daily basis against innocent Israelis - those who live inside what is officialy called the state of Israel. on the other hand, there are right wing Israelis who insist on preserving 'biblical Israel' and this "mind conflict" adds up a great deal of pressure on the Israeli society. Sharon is hardly the issue here - he actually wants to close down settlements and pull out of Palestinian cities... the only reason IDF is there is to prevent the next suicide bombing. Lately there are hardly any suicide attacks in Israeli cities and the reason for that isn't because the Palestinians gave up on their war against Israel but rather beacuse of IDF's ability to prevent those in time. That's it for now, I guess...

If anyone thinks Arafat was just going to die and not have any say in who would fill his shoes, then that person is a fool. Arafat was 75 freakin years old. He knew his life would end soon. He probably lived longer than even he thought. I am certain that Arafat chose Abbas to continue his footsteps.

there are other reasons for that too. such as the Israeli's are descendents of the original Israelites. but u wont get that

history says it is in fact Israel's land on top of all the other reasons. The Brits in order to punish the Turks sent the troops against the Turks to conquer what we know today as Israel. Turkey controlled that part of the world until ww 1.

other thing is that Israeli's have turned the land into such a success. I mean its about the size of New Jersey, but thanks to Israeli technology and hard work, they produce more food than some of the Arab countries, which are a bazillion times larger in size.
