AND she was from out of town? Dude, travelers don't have to deal with awkward post-coitus social situations. She was looking for some NSA. Definitely.

But she's the one who called it off. Oh well.

What the OP needs is a chick who's into the Sharks...

If you've actually got tickets to the game, then go! If it's just on TV then go with the movie.

i went to the colorado game with a couple of friends and it was beyond awesome. no tickets to tonights game though.

Do you have an extra ticket that mabe you could ask her along to the game?

nooooo i don't have tickets to tonight's game, meaning i have to watch it on FSN.

Well, then why ask? Even if it is a stupid chick flick, go.

Damn man go with the girl. There is the chance of a much better, and definitly more enjoyable and pleasurable game that can be played at the end of the night. Wouldnt you rather have her play with you joystick or more time by yourself with it?

She invited me to go to Capitola when she called it off, it's supposedly a good place for photography.

Even better! A far better opertunity for romance.

...and you would rather get drunk with other men and stare at a TV than take a romantic walk on a picture-perfect beach with a girl who obviously wants you?

For her sake...I'm glad you passed.

Who the hell watches hockey? Remember, they were the ones who were shut down for a whole season. Go to the movie.

No wonder the nerds around here have such problems with women. When presented the opportunity to go out with a REAL girl or stay home and watch a sporting event on TV they actually have to think about it.

Shut down for a season... to fix the problems that existed in the NHL. Now the game is much more enjoyable. Small market teams now have the ability to flourish. Further, attendance is up across the league... so it seems that quite a few people watch hockey.

Obviously the OP watches hockey... else, there would be no dilemma. Therefore, your argument of "Who the hell watches hockey" is irrelevant in this scenario. You would go to the movie simply because you don't care for hockey.

Regardless... go with a woman who also enjoys the activity and you'll both be happy.
