Sharing with OSX & XP

My daughter has an XP laptop & an Intel iMac both running through a Netgear wireless router & wants to share files between them. Any tips would be appreciated.

use the help feature on the mac....serriously...thats what i did ...worked great 😀

She tried that from both ends , it asks for the server name & nothing she tries works.

She tried the server name as smb:// ?

Or try browing through the network?

why don't you go under the "go" menu, then click on connect to server...type in the ip address of the server, it'll mount that for you and depending on how you setup permissions...you'll have access...
