Sharing Wireless Connection

For the past 2 or so months, me and my neighbor have been sharing a wireless network. We split the cost, but we're paying for one. The network is open so I just went out bought a wireless network cards, installed it, and it connected.

Last week I lost connection. It shows the network is there, but I cannot connect. When I disable Belkin's software and allow Windows to monitor connections the same thing happens.

I've tried using different IPs to access the router, and it used to work, now they don't. Accordning to Belkins radio program, the network is there, but it doesn't show that it's on. I'm not recieving for sending packets.

My old roomate, said that I mights want to reset the router, and that it could have its memory full with IPs, /ipconfig renew /ipconfig /release doesn't work either.

Is there any software I can get to try and fix this? Or do I just have bad luck?
