Sharing violation in Windows 2000 when trying to delete a folder.......

Sometimes when I try to delete a folder I JUST created, it'll say sharing violation..... and won't let me delete it...... even after a reboot, i still can't delete the folder? i'm log'd on as administrator also and it's not even shared.... well the whole drive is shared, but even with no computers accessing the server (the one with windows 2000) i can't delete that folder...... some help please???

Is the directory empty? If not, check all file permissions. Go to the folder options/view tab and select 'show all files...'.
