Is there any way to share printer via ethernet with only the router on. They way i have it is through another computer, meaning it has to be turned on for me to print from another comp, is there a way to do it through the router only. Or does my router have to specifically have that feature

Or you can buy an ethernet print server. Just make sure you get the right kind - Parallel or USB
Newegg

Yeah, I've seen thsoe before. Dang they are cheap now! They used to be like $50 or $100, but they are $30 or less now!

One note, I was looking for reviews on USB print servers and I came across the
Keyspan USB server. It lets you use a large number of USB devices, not just printers.
Quote from a user review
"If you have a Multi-Function printer, you NEED this device, because even if you find a compatible print server, it will only let you use the print function. A Printer Server turns your Multi-Function printer into a Uni-Function Printer. "
