Sharing printer on 2 xp machines

I have xp pro on my machine and xp home on the kids computer. The kids printer has pretty much puked out and I want them to be able to print to my printer.

Ok my account on the home machine is the only administrator account on the kids machine (xp home). I went in and added the printer in my account but when I log out and go into one of the kids accounts the printer doesn't even show up as an available printer. I thought this is was because I hadn't added the kids names as account on the pro machine. So I did that and it is still not available. Is this one of the many features of xp home? Or am I doing something wrong. It works fine when I log on under my account.

I figure it is something stupid that I have overlooked but I can't figure out what I am missing.

Thanks

I forgot to say that they are connected to a Smc router with tcp/ip and netbeui protocol installed on both. As I said above I can print on the kids machine to the printer using the administrator account. There are 4 other accounts and none of them even show the printer as being installed.
