sharing net access over bluetooth

I have a Nokia E60 that can use wi-fi for net access, but we don't have wifi at work, and a lot of the hotels that I stay at only have wired ethernet access in the room.

Now the Nokia does have bluetooth that works fine for syncing and for using a BT headset, but could it not be used for net access as well? There are no profiles or settings that allow such use, but I don't see any reason why this is not possible.

What I am wondering is if anyone has figured out how to have a notebook (that is connected to a corporate wired network) share its internet access over the bluetooth connection, and thereby let my smartphone get online ???

There is a way to do it involving bridging your wired or wireless computer network connection to the bluetooth device. I tried it many moons ago with a Belkin 2.0 bluetooth USB dongle. It was a finicky connection at best and I don't recommend it.
