My brother and I just networked out computers together using a hub. I have dial-up access, and I am curious if somehow he can get internet through my computer? I realize that it would be pretty slow, but anything is better than nothing.

We are both on Windows 98 SE, using a Netgear Ethernet Hub (I am connected through the Uplink port, he is connected through another one).

Any ideas?
Thanks

I went through ICS on the computer without the internet connection, and selected Lan internet. When I am connected to the internet on this computer, I try and access a site on the other one, but it cannot connect.

Any ideas?

<< and selected Lan internet. >>

Your connection is not LAN, it's dialup.

No, your connection is still dialup. Connection through LAN is for broadband.

You have to setup ICS on the Dial-up computer and use lan on the second computer.
