ok my ISP is giving me 5 static ips.. ive got a linksys router and is connected to a 10unit network. but the router is only allowed to use one static ips from my ISP. and using automatic mode wont work.

is there a way i could use the 5 static ips shared to my network or something?

thanks

Just plug in a hub/switch and set each PC with a static IP address from the range you've been given

If you have a real use for needing 5 IPs, you can get the SMC7004VBR. You can put one IP behind the Router and the other 4 alternate in and out of the DMZ. Doing so you can get the Good of both Wan and LAN.

Otherwise you might ignore the useless gimmick since eventually you are going to be restricted in your Network configuration by not having a private LAN.
