Sharing a Printer on Win2k

On my (mini) home network, I've got a Brother laser printer connected through a parallel port to a Win2k professional computer, and would like it to be accessible from a networked Win98 computer. The problem is, although file sharing works fine from both directions, and although the printer has been defined as a shared printer under Win2k, I can't see it from Win98. Whenever I try defining a network port from the printer properties box on the Win98 computer, I can see the computer to which the printer is connected, but not the shared printer itself. Am I out in left field, or should this be easy to do? Thanks for any help.

Did you set up security when you shared it? Did you give the 98 computer user rights to access the printer?

Also you have to install the print drivers on your 98 machine. If you are able to browse from 98 to w2000 machine and see it printer, right click on it and you should see a selection for install. If not then install the drivers and try to browse to it again.
