Before I get into any of that can we assume that as you appear to have abandoned the "Sharia courts" and "Sharia No go areas" as being baseless? Or are you going to hop back to them halfway though a debate on this subject?

Its fine if you just want to rant about how Muslims are somehow just "bad" and they are the base of everything that is wrong with the world, but dont try to pretend that you are addressing issues that exist.

I haven't said much about Sharia zones or courts in this thread at all. I acknowledged their existence, but to be honest with you I don't know much about that issue. All I know is that in France, the UK and perhaps a few other countries around western Europe, there are some pockets of Muslim immigrants who live lives very disconnected from the host nations, and who show very little interest in adopting the culture or ways of those nations.

I know that within those pockets, there is often a mentality of "we will handle our own affairs" and a distrust of the non-Muslim culture around them, including the police.

How often, or how many times has this risen to the level of them having their own Sharia courts or them trying to keep non-Muslims out through intimidation and violence (as opposed to just making the area so alien that they don't want to go there anyway) ? I have no idea.

But I do think that given immigration rates and birth rates, these pockets will grow and spread. I also think that assimilation becomes less and less likely the larger and more numerous such communities become. I think this is a recipe for trouble.

More generally, I think allowing immigration from a part of the world which is violent and backward and has very different values from the west, is a recipe for trouble. The only way I could see it not being so, would be to have very limited immigration of carefully selected people from those areas. But that's not what is happening. And even that has a very big problem with it: you're robbing those nations of their best and brightest, the very people who might be able to help them move beyond their current situations.

I think you need to go and look up what issues Sharia courts deal with and their limits before you start worrying about them.

The UK is something like 85% white ethnicity. The whole "OMG the brown people are taking over!!!" is a crock of shit.

If you go to NYC (especially Brooklyn), there are Hasidic Jewish neighborhoods that are very much like what's described in the OP. Some have been there for more than a century.
These religious courts have no force of law anyway, except what the parties mutually agree to. Kinda like Judge Judy. The worst a religious court can do really is disfellowship or excommunication.
