"great... how long have you been working for them"
Who throws around accusations like that? This might be a deal for someone who doesn't want to spend $500 to get a second PC. Are all of the posts you made to become a senior member this insightful, or was this a real gem?

PS: Lest this be considered a worthless post, let me add that my mom might get one of these to put in my sister's room... Though we already have 4 computers in our house, so it might not be worth it.

Hmmm... This sounds a lot like the "Buddy" that was out several years ago. I don't know if this is any better, but we had nothing but problems with the "Buddy". We got it at work and ended up getting rid of it and getting a second computer. You needed a TON of memory for it to work properly, and there were a lot of conflicts. Hopfully this is better technology. :)

It says 4MB RAM. Does this mean that it only allows 4MB of ram fro the extra user to access? If so, it would not be useful.

As far as USB, you can get them really cheap! I have seen them available for less than $6 for the pair.

I like where it says "High performance" "4MB" and "PCI VIDEO CARD" All on the same page. Hey supports win 98. They do have a website. www.iogear.com

Nah I'll pass. I tried the buddy and it sucked. Even if this sucks half as much it will still suck.

i agree with bob. Those who are not in the company who plug their products are woefully ignorant. This is total crap, 1280x1024@60hz? Can I get corrective eyewear with that? PCI Video card w/ 4mb memory? It could be a pipe-dream, but it is not, it is a company trying to pass off a product that does magic. Desktop PCs were never meant to run thin-clients, and that is essentially what this does, only badly. I repeat, Shareview has got to be total crap. I don't believe takhyon is intentionally pushing this, he is just naive. 1 PCI slot for each "Workstation"? A workstation is a professional business computer, not a !@#$ing terminal. And the min requirement is a 100mhz pentium? lol, you would be lucky to get a DOS prompt running on that.

Koppel: Do NOT get this. It is a company trying to rip off newbie computer users who wouldn't know enough to install the thing.
