Shareholders query porn star presence at Nvidia party

who cares??

is this really a big deal. i dont care how much porn these peopel watch as long as they make good products

*sigh*

You have investors that don't give a whit about morals; as long as their share price keeps going up.

And then you have investors that want to force their morals and way of life on the company they are investing in. It's the whole separation of church and state thing, man. :disgust:

eh, the have a point (sort of). I mean, it is their money, and I don't know if I would be okay with a company spending "my" money on a pricy band and a porn star for some party.

Who fscking cares?

Especially the band part.. that's just stupid. I can MAYBE see the porn star thing, since you may not want that associated with the company.. but.. sheesh.

I think i woudl be pissed too. Keep in mind that the goal of management is to increase share holder wealth. Considering that Nvidia is currently trading at about 33% of its value in Jan. 02, management is not doing it's job.

Stock holders could care less about what goes on when the economy is going good and they are making money, but when times are tight, this kinda of crap can't go on, because people ask questions.

I bet those investors are the kind that blush when they fart...keep on driving the price down, I will pick it up and make your money for you.

I wish my company party would have porn stars and rock bands.

Nvidia is trying to appeal to the young, hip and fun market, not these anal prudes that call themselves investors who get blinded by the own tightness of their sphincter muscles

people its all about money. If the stripper or band wants to come to our party for FREE then fine! But, if my shares are paying for them to show up to the party, then , HELL YES I would be pissed.

especially when your dividend check comes up short to finance the strippers, right?

Smashmouth sounds like $#iT, so they definitely need some other kind of entertainment. Who's Catalina ?

You didn't see the other chick pics at E3 ? That's all they did... tank tops and bikini bottoms... what more do you think she could do ?

As opposed to the young Japanese girls wearing Sailor Moon outfits and schoolgirl outfits, or eating sushi off from naked ladies? Sorry, but they defined kinkiness.

Maybe they were trying to give the investors a taste of their ideas of partying...

The grammar in that article is irritating. Was that page translated to some other language and then retranslated back to English?

Force their morals? Shareholders = own percentage of company = have some say in the ethical process of the management. Doesn't mean they pull any weight, they just are allowed to express their opinions. If you're going to get the constitution into this, then read up on freedom of speech.
