Have recently noticed that the shared folder does not show on one side of my network In My network Places). Although it used to.(comp1)
so when I then go to workgroup computers and click on that computer it gives me the working hourglass for 45-60 seconds and finally shows the shared folder, printer etc. that are located on other comp(2) and accesses them fine.
on the other hand comp2 is acessing everything fine.
they are connected by a network card on comp2 through a high speed hub to an onboard network on comp 1.
so #1 why is the shared folder not showing up on one side in my network places and #2 why when I go to workgroup computers does it take that 45+ seconds to connect when it should be almost instataneous.
***********For some reason it had been removed from my network places I was able to add it back in and connectivity seems normal now***********
